RobotCafe is a vertical web ring on robotics just as robohoo is. The look and organization of information are very standard, almost identical. Too bad, because even though there's an impressive number of references and links, the commentaries are too light for you to make your opinion. What's great is the "Robot Galery" part where you can find a list of robots made by private individuals and that should motivate your imagination. Moreover, the start-up company owning Robotcafe brags about owning a handful of sites name containing the word "robot". Being nice people, they offer to sell them to you, from $500 upwards. Yep, every little helps!!

A very comprehensive website about artificial intelligence and futur intelligent automatons. It presents a monthly, detailed review with many articles. This website, animated by Jean-Paul Baquiast and Christophe Jacquemin from "admiroutes" - by the way a very good Internet address - will undoubtedly thrill beginners and experts alike. The style is higly polished and texts are remarkably clear. A performance we had to underline. Let's go for an artifical intelligence ride!

ARS website is a real portal on robotics. It gathers a load of information, links and news. It's really great. Too bad it's too focused on the United States. People work on robotics elsewhere and they're even better at it! As the website only exists since Feburary 2000, let's hope that they'll do something to improve its international scale and add references all over the place! Anyway, we like it!

Elektor is a French electronics magazine well-known for its seriousness and the quality of its realizations. On the very classicaly designed website linked to the magazine, you can download free PCB films and softwares - now that's something interesting - and access index of old issues. #262 about Lego Mindstorms is particularly great. On the website there's even a reader's magazine that teaches you many useful tricks. The magazine is available for a 350F fee a year - 11 issues. Definitely something to know about and to subscribe to if you can.

This is tne Internet edition of Robot Science and Technology paper magazine, one of the oldest and best magazines in our opinion. You can read FAQs, summaries of articles edited in the magazine, just enough to make you hopping mad. Anyway this magazine is essential for any robot's inventor. And who knows, maybe it'll soon be available in other languages than English. So what are you waiting for? It's only $49 a year, now that's affordable!

On RobotBook website you'll find a huge list of books on robotics. Everything's in English, sorry for you guys if you don't get a word of it. Except for this, the book's list is really comprehensive and can easily make your day. Afterwards, you just go to amazon.com - it's a little less expensive and their stock is bigger. Then you order the book and the English/? dictionary to understand it if you don't speak the language. There you go for a good reading week-end!

In this part of the RobotBook website you'll find the comprehensive list of all American robotics magazines. Yep, today, they're the only ones to produce these kinds of magazines. Now you really don't have a choice and you have to learn English if you don't already speak it. Anyway, it'll do you good and you'll be able to understand all the TV shows broadcast on cable TV as well as read all these wonderful magazines.
